Preston's has a number of antique figureheads in their own collection, and feel that these reproductions proudly carry on the tradition of the sailing ships of long ago. The original Britannia, now in the naval museum at Greenwich, England, once graced the bow of a 120-gun ship. This exquisite reproduction is authentic in every detail, right down to the grain and cracks of the original wood, the weathered paint finish and the marks of the woodcarver's tools. Moulded in lightweight foam and hand air-brushed, she is 34" high x 14" wide, projects 14" from the wall and is hung by means of a simple bracket attached to the back.
