The Carol Moran was one of 5 diesel electric tugs built in 1949 by the Levingston Shipbuilding Company for the Moran fleet of tugboats. After a fire in 1987 she was later given to the State of New Jersey to be a participant in the states reef restoration project. Our model features a molded hull with wood and hand-tooled hardware and a wood display stand. Please note that the name on the photo "Carol" will not be on the finished model.
