The octagonal polished mahogany box with brass-hinged top is 5" in diameter and is 3¼" high with top closed. The brass clock, with battery operated German quartz movement, is 3½" in diameter. It has a compass rose design on the face, arabic numbers, an alarm and tilts forward for easy reading while seated. Accented in brass, complete with an engravable octagonal brass plate in the top.
